What we collect
We collect your task description, email, any optional contact or project details, links, files, request source, consent version, submission time and technical information needed for basic security.
How we use it
We use this information to review your request, ask clarifying questions, prepare a scope and quote, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and keep an internal record of the request.
Files and access
Request records and uploaded files are kept in private storage. Access is limited to people who need the information to review or carry out an accepted task. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials or highly sensitive personal information.
Sharing and publicity
Submitting a request does not give permission to publish your identity, request, files, address, family information or supplier information. Information may be shared with a qualified third party only when needed to review or perform an agreed task and subject to the task arrangement.
Retention and requests
For ordinary inquiries that close without proceeding to a paid task, we stop using your personal information no later than 90 days after communication ends and move it to archived storage. Archived information is kept with restricted access. Unless you contact us again, it is not used to contact you, for marketing or for any new purpose; it may be consulted only for records, security, dispute handling and applicable obligations. Information relating to agreed work is kept as long as reasonably needed for service records, security and applicable obligations. You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information, including archived information. Email hello@doneinchina.com and include your DIC request ID when available.
